Grain Free Almond Flour Tortillas

Loading...

An almond flour tortilla is where our Siete story began! Without a tortilla that would suit our whole family's journey to health, our sister, Veronica, thoughtfully selected ingredients like almond flour to create her own. When our Grandma Campos said they were as good as the ones she'd been making for years, we knew we had something special!

These heritage-inspired tortillas quickly became a family staple and are an important connection to our Mexican-American culture.

We invite you to experience and enjoy the foods that bring us together around the table.

¡Buen Provecho!

FAQué?

Debuting Siete Tips & Tricks episode numero dos: A Siete Telenovela on How to Heat Your Tortilla. (Because the only thing we take more seriously than burning love is heating tortillas!) Watch Jamie, from our Sales Team, and Nic, from Quality Assurance, bring this drama to life.

When it comes to preparing tortillas, some people experience what we call “the humpty-dumpty phenomenon,” where all the king’s horses and all the king’s men cannot put a broken tortilla back together again.... For a happy ending, learn from Dumpty and be sure to heat our tortillas before you eat them!

Instructions For Properly Heating Tortillas:

1. Heat a griddle, flat top, pan, or comal over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
2. Warm tortilla for 10-15 seconds on both sides.
3. Enjoy!

If you're saving our Grain Free Tortillas for the long winter, or just past the first week of purchase, they should be stored frozen. Please use by the frozen best by date on the back of the package.

We recommend thawing them in the refrigerator, and used within 7 days of opening, unless you choose to refreeze, which is perfectly fine. If using a microwave to thaw, remove the tortillas from their package and set timer for approximately 25-30 seconds.

When refreezing we’ve found using parchment paper or a similar separator is helpful in keeping the tortillas from sticking together. We would not recommend freezing tortilla chips.

We currently offer two varieties of our Almond Flour Tortillas: our 8-count pack, found on our website and in stores, and a 20-count pack made exclusively for Costco. While both are made with lots of love, they use slightly different recipes.

Why the difference?

The Costco tortillas are sold refrigerated and go through a different storage and distribution process. To help preserve freshness and ensure the best possible experience at home, we use a slightly different formulation, one that still reflects our food philosophy.

No matter where you find us, we want you to know: great care and consideration go into every product formulation, no matter the size or retailer.

Our commitment to quality and deliciousness remains the same across the board and the hope that our products bring joy to your table.

We ship our frozen tortillas Monday - Wednesday with ice packs in insulated coolers to maintain freshness.

Most orders received after FedEx pickup on Wednesday will be shipped the following week.

FedEx 2-day shipping is FREE with all tortilla orders.
