Step 1
Place tamarind pods, agave nectar, chilli powder, and water in a pot and bring to a boil -
Step 2
Boil for 1 minute and remove from heat -
Step 3
Let pods sit in water and stir frequently to remove and dissolve tamarind paste from pods -
Step 4
Strain liquid once all the tamarind paste has dissolved and place in paleta molds -
Step 5
Freeze overnight -
Step 6
Optional: Garnish with Tajin chile powder before serving
